Fiona Barnett formally studied visual arts, art psychotherapy, psychology, and neuroscience. Her research, writing, and advocacy efforts shadow many high-profile cases. Notably, the Daruk boys home case, from provoking formation of a police taskforce, collecting witness statements, to liaising with mainstream media outlets to publish victims’ stories - was entirely Fiona’s work.
Fiona’s voluntary advocacy work extended to providing 24/7 counselling to victims of government-sponsored child trafficking. Her free book ‘Eyes Wide Open’ is an underground classic that has been downloaded millions of times and translated into multiple languages.
Fiona is currently working on a new book, ‘The Fight to Remember,’ a therapy guide intended to help government-sponsored child trafficking victims integrate from their systematically induced memory compartmentalisation, or ‘Trauma-Based Forced Dissociation. Fiona spent years studying to reverse-engineer the military’s MK-Ultra based techniques. Her ‘Dissociation of Learning Trauma Model’ and revolutionary approach to treating trauma and dissociation will be shared in her new book.
And when that book is published, and she has fulfilled her promise to assist fellow victims – Fiona plans to retire from the frustration of trying to convert an apathetic society to the uncomfortable truth, and never discuss ‘child sex trafficking’ again.
