By | | comments |

Independent Australia will be live streaming the Gold Coast mayoral debate, being held tonight at 6.30pm, Tuesday 15 March, at the Nerang Bicentennial Hall.

Watch the GC mayoral debate live online from 6.30 pm here -> watchlive.com.au/gcelection

You can also join the debate in real time on Twitter by using the hashtag -> #GCMayorMeet

Tweets using this hashtag will also (if appropriate) be streamed along the bottom of the video stream in Q&A style.

As Independent Australia has been reporting, as the race for the Mayor enters its last days there are still many questions that need answering:

  • Who will capably represent the Gold Coast both nationally and internationally?
  • Who understands that this representational and leadership role must encompass the highest integrity, honest and vision to make our Gold Coast a world city without losing its unique charm?
  • Who understands that the environmental, social, planning and economical successes are interdependent?
  • These and many other questions will be asked of our mayoral candidates on the night in the final bid to give voters clarity in their decision to elect the mayor of the Gold Coast for the next four years.

Gold Coast residents are also encouraged to attend the event, being put on by the Nerang Community Association, in person at the Nerang Bicentennial Community Centre at 633 Nerang-Southport Road, Nerang. Plenty of seating is available and supper will be served afterwards. Please arrive at around 6pm for 6.15pm seating.

But if you can't make it there, make sure watch it live online tonight (15/3/16) from 6.30pm at watchlive.com.au/gcelection.
