PEN Melbourne

PEN Melbourne is one of 147 PEN International centres worldwide, whose members are united by a common concern for the art of writing and freedom of expression. As an affiliate of PEN International, PEN Melbourne acts in solidarity with and advocates for the freedom and safety of Australian and international writers whose voices have been silenced through State violence, from persecution and imprisonment to genocide.
