Stephen Luntz is a staff writer for Australasian Science Magazine and the author of Forensics, Fossils and Fruitbats: A Field Guide To Australian Scientists (CSIRO 2011).
He moved into science writing as the most obvious career path after a science/arts degree at the University of Melbourne in which classes on Quantum Mechanics directly preceded The Legend of King Arthur on his timetable, followed a few years later by a Graduate Diploma in Science Communication at ANU.
Stephen is a director of Above Quota Elections where he administers ballots for non-government organisations electing their boards, councils or officeholders.
He still occassionally works for the Melbourne University Physics Department and is a member of the Australian Greens.
