Dr Peter G Cook, BA, MA, PhD (Communication), was the recipient of two Canadian Commonwealth Scholarships and has post-graduate degrees from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, and a BA from Murdoch University, Western Australia. He has worked variously as a beekeeper, university lecturer, public policy researcher, digital media project manager and senior executive in the non-profit sector. He is the coordinator of the SPA discussion paper series.
He is vice-president of Sustainable Population Australia (SPA) and joint author of the SPA discussion papers, Population and climate change (2022) and Big thirsty Australia: how population growth threatens our water security and sustainability (2024).
