Verena Brunschweiger, author, childfree activist, feminist, was born in Passau, Germany, in 1980. She studied German, English and Philosophy at Regensburg University and got her PhD in 2007.
In 2019, her manifesto Kinderfrei statt kinderlos ('Childfree, not childless') caused an international stir. Newspapers in Sweden, Hungary, Poland, Russia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium and of course Austria and Switzerland wrote about Germany’s child-free author and her massive impact.
Her unique combination of environmentalism, feminism and philosophy makes her a dazzling interview partner. She appears regularly on television, on the radio, in newspapers, videos and podcasts.
