Trevor Cook

Trevor Cook has worked in politics, public policy and strategic communications for over 30 years. He is a former ministerial staffer in the Hawke and Keating Governments.

Trevor was recently awarded a doctorate in Australian politics at the University of Sydney. His thesis was on the (changing) relationship between the ALP and trade unions.

In recent years, he has tutored in Australian politics, Australian political parties and Australian foreign and defence policy.

Trevor Cook has been blogging since November 2003 and, over the past decade, has written many articles on politics, public relations and social media for newspapers, magazines and websites.

A lover of literature, he particularly enjoys John McGahern and James Joyce.
