Tim Thornton

  • Dr Tim B. Thornton is a Senior Research Fellow with the Economics in Context Initiative which is part of Boston University’s Global Development Policy Centre, Senior Research Fellow with Global Development and Environment Institute at Tufts University, Boston and Director of the School of Political Economy in Melbourne.

    Tim Thornton holds a PhD in Economics from La Trobe University and a Master of Arts (International Development) from Monash University. Tim has previously worked as an academic at Monash University, Swinburne University and La Trobe University, where he taught and researched in the areas of economics, political economy, economic history, international development and politics.
