Rosemary Vass is a retired educator who specialised in teaching students with learning difficulties and the teaching of reading. She grew up in western NSW on the edge of the Pilliga Forest.
After teaching in Sydney and Brisbane she returned to regional NSW to work in rural schools for over 20 years. She is married with three adult children and three grandsons. Rosemary is passionate about education, social justice, disability rights, climate change and the environment. Now a proud member of the Knitting Nannas movement, she is an environmental activist because she wants a better future for all children.
