Michael James Flynn is a London-based writer, who grew up in one of the more neglected parts of Thatcher's Britain and has been talking to anyone who'd listen (and a few people who wouldn't) about British and European politics ever since.
In a career that's encompassed journalism, political analysis, consultancy, translation and driving a courier van, he's seen Europe from more angles than most. He's advised Fortune 500 companies, NGOs, human rights campaigns and the odd government, and has been published in the media of all 28 EU member states and plenty more besides.
Michael speaks three languages well and about five more badly — the jury's out on whether English belongs in the first camp or the second.
