Liam Carlton-Jones is an 18 year old student who lives in the suburbs of Brisbane. He is currently studying Political Science and Economics at the University of Queensland.
He is an unapologetic traditionalist conservative and a practicing Anglican. Liam bemoans the take-over of the Christian faith and Conservativism by “goofy conformists.” Feeling that Christianity is rapidly replacing Christ and poetry with politics and pop-songs, and that Neo-Conservatism is responsible for much social damage and change as a result of the free-market and foreign-wars.
Liam hopes to become a writer in many different areas and enjoys journalism most keenly because of the “freedom from the elite and the connection with the many” it brings to important discussions. He is a supporter of Liverpool Football Club and is "obsessed" with the Beach Boys 'Pet Sounds' album.
