Gavin Silbert

Gavin Silbert is a Queen’s Counsel who has practised as a barrister for 40 years. He graduated with degrees in Law and Classics from the University of Western Australia and holds post-graduate degrees from the Universities of London and Oxford. He has practised in every jurisdiction and in all courts in the judicial hierarchy and, in recent years, principally in the Victorian Court of Appeal and the High Court of Australia. Between 2008 and 2018 he was Chief Crown Prosecutor for Victoria.
