Emily Osmond is currently studying for a Masters of Communication at RMIT, which encompasses editing, communication theory and practice, new media, public relations, cultural studies, cinema and her focus: journalism. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) degree from the University of Melbourne, achieving a high distinction average for her final year of studies.
She has experience writing and presenting daily news for Channel 31, as well as having written lead stories for Victorian regional newspapers.
Emily grew up in England, moved to Ballarat in 2002 and now lives in Melbourne. She is passionate about regional issues, politics, health, social justice, sustainability and travel.
