Dale Allen is retired and lives in Emerald, Victoria. He was the National Administrator of the Australian Ballooning Federation for 20 years, a casual commercial balloon pilot flying out of Stawell and Rutherglen (back in the 1980s). Prior to that, he worked as a Product Manager in the paper industry and was part of the team that developed Reflex Copy paper.
