Binnah Pownall is a community activist and social renovator who has worked with the Originie people for over 20 years in coastal Northern New South Wales on issues such as Sovereignty and Treaty. He has spent over twenty years learning from the tribes of the north coast, and gives thanks for being allowed to pass on the wisdom held and shared by various keepers of knowledge — young and old, from the coast and in the hills.
Binnah facilitates and manages community events and also writes on topics such as Original Protocols and Community Living.
He currently lives in Nimbin NSW.
