Adam Booker has worked as a lawyer in Sydney, practicing criminal law, for the past five years.
Prior to this, he was employed as a lawyer for the Aboriginal Legal Service in rural regions of NSW, representing Indigenous Australians charged with criminal offences.
Adam is currently a research scholar at the University of California, Berkeley producing a thesis considering the role and effect of race and crime governance on Indigenous Australians.
