The use of Australians in your negotiations with the unions will not be forgotten.
Nor will anyone in upper management and/or the directors of this company who go to the table to talk about wages and conditions, after increasing their own wages and threatening to send jobs overseas. Especially your CEO, who has no true people management skills.
For those in middle management at Qantas who did not fight for jobs to stay in Australia, remember — if you’re not at the top of the company, your jobs can be outsourced too.
Your decision, Qantas, to ground all planes has angered many a seasoned flyer, some of whom are Qantas members who have given you their money and support for many years.
Please think on these words and the legal action that will follow in the form of class action against Qantas for non-delivery of services, anguish, stress, financial loss, amongst other things.
May God have mercy on you, for the Australian people will not be so quick to forgive and will not forget.
