Matt George

For over 30 years, Matt George’s feature articles have stood among the most influential works in surfing journalism. Accepting a post as senior contributing editor for Surfer Magazine back in 1984, Matt travelled the world for the next 25 years covering all aspects of the sport and garnering a list of awards and achievements along the way. Today, he lives in Bali at the floating campus of his SERF Academy off West Sumatra. Matt George is currently editor-in-chief of Surftime, Indonesia’s leading beach culture magazine.
