Lidia Myburgh

Lidia Myburgh was born in Italy and grew up in the goldfields region of Western Australia, later relocating to Perth for tertiary education.

A short career in fashion design was followed by extensive travelling and fieldwork in the mining sector of the state’s northwest before a return to the city and a shift into study and work in allied health while living and raising her children on five acres of bush paradise near Toodyay.

A mother of two lovely girls, Lidia continues to work today as a remedial massage practitioner in the Perth Hills.

Besides being an avid reader, Lidia enjoys hiking and kayaking, and anything that gets her out into quiet open spaces to appreciate the beauty still left around us.

Lidia also enjoys painting and creative writing, but only ever seems to write poetry on windy days by the sea.
