Ian Bersten B.Com (Ecs) UNSW 1960 traveled the world for four years hitch-hiking from New York to Buenos Aires, down the Amazon on a boat and from London to Singapore. In 1968 started, he Belaroma Coffee and ran it for nearly 40 years, while writing several books on the history of tea and coffee. Ian recently invented a 30 second brewer.
Helen Bersten, OAM, BA (USyd) and Dip. Lib. (UNSW) worked as an archivist for many years and is a regular reader on Radio 2RPH.
Both Helen and Ian have both been interested in social justice issues for many years.
