Harry Johnston

Henry Johnston, an Australian short story writer, author, essayist, poet and contributor to Independent Australia, worked as an ABC Radio producer, a speechwriter and a senior policy adviser.

His two novellas are Best and Fairest and The Last Voyage of Aratus and Other Stories. Best and Fairest is based in inner-city Sydney in the 1960s and follows the fate of 13 young men who come together to play rugby league. The Last Voyage of Aratus and Other Stories is a modern retelling of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
