Erica Williams is a writer and mental health advocate living in Melbourne.
She has a lived experience of Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Dissociative Identity Disorder and is passionate about sharing her experiences through language. She regularly takes on roles in mental health advocacy as a lived experience consultant.
Erica's work has been published in several literary journals, including Meanjin, Gargouille, and Voiceworks. She is also passionate about using social media to foster positive connections for people with a lived experience of mental illness.
She is currently working on a book about her experiences. In her spare time, Erica enjoys the humility of baking sourdough bread and getting lost in the suburbs.
