Carmela Ferraro

·         Carmela Ferraro is an independent features writer who has been published in various newspapers and magazines in Australia and overseas. She writes mainly about social issues, the environment and unsung heroes.

Carmela is concerned about how well the climate change message is being communicated to the broader public and takes every opportunity to promote it.

She also strongly believes in the power of the media as an agent for change and that it should represent a wider variety of voices than it does currently. To this end, Carmela runs occasional media workshops for small not-for-profits and community groups.
