Born Kurri Kurri NSW,
Robert Ashcroft completed BSc Hons Phys, Sydney University 1965, before brief career
teaching high school, including at SJC Hunters Hill, then completed PhD
Biophysics, UNSW 1979. Subsequently Bob specialised after post-doc at Monash University Immunology, in Flow Cytometry & Cell Sorting and co-founded Cytomation Inc
in 1988, then retired in 2008.
Bob published 30+ peer-reviewed papers, including in
Nature 1977. Bob is an advocate for the reduction of global warming & the future
world of grandchildren.
