Adrian Ponton is currently a lecturer in Rail Accident Investigations at Central Queensland University. He has over four decades of experience in rail transportation systems include safety policy development, management and delivery of significant change projects and accident investigation. He has also been integrally involved in rail safety standards development.
He has extensive experience in the Australian rail industry in rail day-to-day operations and logistics, managing an intermodal rail terminal, project delivery, rail safety compliance and more general statutory compliance.
