Eric Bana — Con from The Castle never looked so good

By | | comments |

After beginning a career as a stand-up comedian in 1991, Aussie actor Eric Bana made his feature film debut in The Castle, where he played accountant and amateur kickboxer Con Petropoulous. (Photo, circa early-2000s.)

Thirty years since its screening, Working Dog's iconic 1997 film is set to charm audiences once more as a stage production

Reportedly, the much-loved comedy classic:

'... has broken the record for highest first day ticket sales for a play in [Melbourne's] Her Majesty’s Theatre history.'

Could we see Bana treading the boards as 'cameo-Con'?

I know... we're 'dreamin'".
