Deb Bennett is a writer/editor who lives in the Dandenong ranges east of Melbourne.

Deb has worked for many years in the not-for-profit sector and has a particular interest in writing stories highlighting issues of marginalisation and disadvantage.

As well as a professional background in social services, Deb has worked in the media and communications industry for NGOs, advocacy groups and charitable organisations.

She is passionate about giving a voice to the voiceless in society such as the homeless, asylum seekers and those living below the poverty line.
